Our MISSION
Please help us ensure that families in our area do not go without a Thanksgiving meal. On the Monday before Thanksgiving, we assemble and deliver boxes full of the ingredients necessary for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Our goal is to deliver 500-600 boxes to less fortunate families in the Bay Area. Our boxes will feed thousands of people on Thanksgiving Day!

HOW IT STARTED
In 1987, realtor Art Scott gifted 3 boxes to his neighbors who were going to go without a Thanksgiving meal. It included everything necessary to prepare the perfect Thanksgiving meal [with leftovers!].
HOW IT'S GOING
Build-A-Box is a federally recognized non-profit organization that for Thanksgiving every year feeds 500-600 families across the San Francisco Bay Area!

Over the last 30+ years hosting this non profit, we see new volunteers, veteran volunteers, local donors, out of state donors, kids and retirees. We welcome and are grateful for every person who takes the initiative to get involved in our charity. Thank you!
